New Beginnings and Promises: I’m Blogging for Real

It’s always difficult to start from scratch, especially when it comes to blogging.

It’s not the first time that I write an entry. The problem is, I don’t do it often.

I’m rusty after all these years of trying to keep a proper space to write.

Today, I’m here to declare that I’m willing to do it right this time. Whenever I stop, I miss thinking out loud in typed words and cyber spaces. Deep down inside, I know I still care.

I’m also here because I want to take myself more seriously as a writer. This is an important step to show my work. I also believe it’s a good idea to think in blog entries so that I finally learn more about my true interests. There are so many topics that I find fascinating, but it’s still not clear which ones stand out more. Writing about those topics will give me a clue.

I’ve kept a diary for more than seven years, and I’ve been able to spot my strengths and weaknesses. Introspection makes wonders, and this is why I think it’s a good idea to do the same with my interests in a more public space.

At the end of the day, I want to discover the road to take to keep doing what I really love doing. The journey is always the most important part, isn’t it?

It’s never late to start again.

I’ve had two or three (or more!) blogs in the past, but I always end up neglecting them. Trust me, I feel awful about this. Blogger, WordPress, and Medium, the platforms I’ve tried, are really good, but I never felt like I could truly express myself.

When I bought my own domain a couple of years ago, that was a much better experience. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford the renewal back then, so that’s why I didn’t continue what I started with that website.

Now that I have my own space again, I’m free to do whatever I want and start my journey one step at a time.
